Company Profile

The company was established in 1999 by a group of experienced regional electricity supply engineers and craftsmen. L C Power provides an alternative to the Regional Electricity Companies for the maintenance and servicing of high and low voltage systems for industrial and commercial organisations.

L C Power offer extensive specialist knowledge to customers with high and low voltage systems, to help them maintain their electrical infrastructure and ensure compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

The company operates a Safety Policy with regard to Health and Safety at Work and uses an adaptation of the Electricity Distribution Rules as advised by Code of Practice BS6626 to ensure that high voltage operations are properly carried out to ensure avoidance of danger and offers the following services to its clients:

  • Project Management
  • High voltage systems, Construction and Maintenance of ground mounted and overhead apparatus up to 33 KV, and all aspects of Low voltage systems, Construction and Maintenance of ground mounted and overhead apparatus
  • Protection Relay Testing
  • Cable fault location and repairs of both high voltage and low voltage networks
  • Hazardous Waste Removal (PCB contamination in particular)
  • Installation of temporary generators
  • Thermal imaging
  • Load profile monitoring
  • The company was incorporated in 1999; our registered office is located at Unit 23, Norton Enterprise Park, Whittle Road, Churchfield Industrial Estate Salisbury SP2 7YS.

    The Board of Directors consists of two directors; Lee Smith and Chris Kennedy , each having particular responsibilities for the running of the Company; administration and technical co-ordination, operations and safety, marketing and development, finance and expenditure. Each has prime objectives to operate and manage a core business dedicated to providing high voltage electrical maintenance and installation of the utmost quality.

    The Directors have extensive experience of high voltage installations accrued over many years in previous employment within the Electricity Supply Industry and have established contacts throughout the trade. The directors have experience of managing work forces, and are conversant with all relevant statutory regulations and safety requirements necessary to operate high voltage systems as demanded by the Electricity At Work Regulations and Code of Practice BS 6626.


    Throughout the country contracts have been established with various major public and private sector organisations using high voltage systems. Such organisations include:
